Most factory projects need an HV contractor, an M&E contractor and a builder — and someone to make them agree. ILR carries all three licences in-house, so the interfaces are ours to manage, not yours.

Three names, one team,
thirty years.

ILR Engineering Sdn. Bhd. began in 1994 as Power Light Electrical Engineering — an electrical and instrumentation contractor serving power distribution, manufacturing and process industries.

As the business diversified into design it was incorporated as Intelpower Light Resources Sdn. Bhd. in 2001, and with the expansion into mechanical and civil work it became ILR Engineering Sdn. Bhd. in 2013. The company is built on a combined effort of experienced engineers, supervisors, a skilled workforce and supporting staff — with the spirit of teamwork.

We believe in customer focus. In line with Total Quality Management and Time-Based Management, it has always been our practice to be with the customer at all times, from planning and concept right through execution and maintenance.

Before you call.

Can ILR handle the TNB supply application for a new factory?

Yes. Connection liaison and negotiation with Tenaga Nasional Berhad is part of our HT scope — from load application and SSU design to energisation and handover.

Do you work outside Selangor?

Our headquarters is in Shah Alam and most work is across the Klang Valley, but project teams are mobilised nationwide for HT, clean room and facility set-up work.

What size of projects do you take on?

From a single LV distribution board or genset installation to full manufacturing-facility set-up covering HT supply, M&E utilities, clean room and tool hook-up. CIDB G7 means no upper tender limit.

Can you do the C1 / C2 / C3 submissions?

Yes — we prepare and submit factory / building applications and follow them through to approval as part of our building-services scope.

Do you offer maintenance contracts after handover?

Yes. Scheduled HV and M&E maintenance, facility management and breakdown support are available as annual O&M contracts.
